Settled in a mountain meadow, 2km above Nakusp, this golf course is surrounded by the beautiful mountain ranges of Saddleback, Oden, Thor and Indian Head. This with the rolling hills and wild flowers associated with the Kootenays.
The golf course is an enjoyable play for new and novice alike. With the
9 hole layout consisting of par 3’s and 4’s, it allows the new player not to be intimidated yet challenging for the seasoned player to make pars. Two of the most challenging holes are the uphill #5 (par 4) and the dangerous #7 (par 3). The fifth requires a well struck driver through a narrow fairway that leads to a generous green surrounded by greenside mounding and bunkers. The seventh requires a precise teeball to avoid O/B to the left and the greenside trees to the right. A challenge for any level of player.
