Even though well within Calgary’s city limits, the Inglewood Golf and Curling Club enjoys a wonderfully secluded atmosphere. The mature trees that border the course block out most of the city’s sights and sounds, making it difficult to believe the city centre is just minutes away. In fact, so natural is the setting that a bird sanctuary is located on adjacent property.
Inglewood’s 18 holes follow the Bow River, which enters play on several of them. Fairways here are level and of average width. Most of the contoured greens are in the 6,000 sq. ft. range; all but two protected by bunkers.
Inglewood’s signature hole is the 506 yard 18th. This beautiful finishing hole features a large water hazard to the front of the green backstopped by three bunkers.
