The Guildford Golf and Country Club is a beautiful course located in the middle of suburban Surrey. It has long been considered one of the best public course in the area.
Some of the unique holes at Guildford include the 16th hole that is referred to as “Augusta”. This hole resembles the famed 12th hole of Augusta National and includes the stone bridge and watery grave which encompass 2/3 of the green. Another great hole is the 13th - new in 2004. A strategic 340yd dogleg left Par 4 played to an uphill triple tiered green, nestled among a grove of fir trees.
